Students from St. Thomas, Blessed Sacrament, All Saints, Magdalen, Holy Savior, Resurrection, St. Margaret Mary, St. Mary's Derby, St. Josephs and St. Jude come together to form Crusader Jr. Wrestling. Crusader Jr. Wrestling will compete against the west side grade schools in two duals and two tournaments. Wrestling is a relatively short season in the winter before basketball, which allows boys to participate in both sports! Wrestlers interested in continuing wrestling once CSAL league is over, are encouraged to join Wichita Wrestling Club, which is the Kapaun wrestling feeder program.

Seasoned wrestlers, as well as beginner wrestlers are encouraged to participate. Wrestlers will develop wrestling skills, mental toughness, personal responsibility, toughness and confidence!

"Wrestling has taught me so many physical and mental characteristics that directly contributed to success on the football field. Balance, footwork, use of hands, and understanding leverage are all very important and nothing teaches those skills better than wrestling. Most importantly, wrestling teaches mental toughness, self-discipline, and a will to win; and those attributes carry over into life outside of sports." - Johnathan Truman (Resurrection Parish, KMC 2010, K-State Football)
