Welcome to Spanish Class!

All Grades:

• Special Hispanic celebrations and traditions are taught, such as Hispanic Heritage Month, Día de los Muertos, Las Posadas, La Semana Santa (Holy Week), and Cinco de Mayo.
• Prayers are learned in Spanish.
• Each month a Hispanic or Latino saint is discussed.

3rd Grade:

• Focus on alphabet, numbers 0-20, colors, weather, months, seasons and clothing

4th & 5th Grade:

• Review of 3^rd grade curriculum and a focus on classroom objects and commands, numbers 0-100, family, feelings, animals, and sports.
