OVERVIEW
Objective: To facilitate optimal learning for all students so they may achieve to their highest potential through providing a structured yet nurturing environment that allows for academic, spiritual, social, and physical growth.
Structure: Two sections each with one teacher. Students switch between teacher depending on subject.

Additional Instruction: Music, Physical Education, Library, Technology, Art, Spanish

- Reading for comprehension of fiction and non-fiction
- Grammar; parts of speech and parts of sentences
- Writing paragraphs to persuade, inform or entertain an audience
- Two novel studies throughout the year

- Multi-digit multiplication
- Understanding real world math problems and solutions
- Long division
- Fun with fractions
Social Studies
- Exploring regions of the USA, their States & Capitals, economy, resources & people
Science
