Each student is required to have a minimum amount of service hours by May 1^st. The amount required is commensurate with the child’s grade. For example, a first grader must complete 1 hour, a second grader 2 hours, and an eighth grader 8 hours. The students are encouraged to do more than the minimum and families are encouraged to do a family service project once a year.
