For over 50 years, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church has been blessed with great success! In the early years, success was driven by parishioners motivated to ensure Parish growth equal to that of the Catholic population in east Wichita. Then, in the late 1960's, the Diocese of Wichita challenged all parishes to move toward operating solely upon parishioner commitments to participate in Stewardship of Time, Talent and Treasure. A seemingly overwhelming task, St. Thomas Aquinas Parish was one of the first to rise to the challenge and it was not long before the Parish became "stewardship-based" - establishing, maintaining and budgeting based, only upon, parishioners living stewardship as a way of life.
For the past several years, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic church has been able to effectively operate and fund over 60 Parish Apostolate groups which serve nearly 1600 families, all thanks to parishioners participating in Stewardship of Time, Talent and Treasure. Now, as parishioners work together, striving to fulfill the Parish mission to become ever more One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic, parishioners living stewardship as a way of life is just as, if not more, important than ever before!
Each November, parishioners of the Parish are asked to participate in Stewardship Renewal. All are asked to revisit the true meaning of stewardship, to re-familiarize themselves with Stewardship of Time, Talent and Treasure and the many ways in which to participate in stewardship at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. After doing so, all parishioners are asked to please engage in family conversation, pray about stewardship participation and then complete a Stewardship Renewal Form in commitment of how each will serve Him for the following year.

When will I receive the 2012 STA Stewardship Renewal Directory? Parishioners should be receiving their Renewal Directories during the first few weeks of November.

Do I need to wait until I receive the Directory, before completing my 2012 Renewal? No! The 2012 Online Stewardship Renewal Form can be completed at anytime or a .pdf file of the 2012 STA Stewardship Renewal Form can be downloaded and printed for completion, at anytime.

Is automatic withdrawal available for my Stewardship of Treasure pledges and, if so, what do I need to do to authorize an auto debit? Yes, automatic withdrawal is available for your pledges. For tithing, auto debit can be scheduled weekly or on the 1st or 15th of the month. For Building Preservation and Mission Outreach pledges, auto debits are offered on the 1st of the month only. For authorization, you must complete an Auto Debit Form and return it to the Church Office, with a voided check, for processing. Is there one location where all the stewardship materials, forms and files can be accessed? Yes! Click here to access the "Tithe Forms" page of the Parish website, where all stewardship paperwork can be accessed.
Who will have access to my Renewal Form and commitments, after I submit my Renewal Form? Only appropriate Church staff. Stewardship of Treasure information will be kept confidential.
By whom, and when, will I be contacted regarding my commitment to participate in Stewardship of Talent? Parish Apostolate leaders will contact all parishioners, who have committed to their activity/group, by the end of the year.
When is my 2012 STA Stewardship Renewal due? All STA Stewardship Renewals are respectfully requested to be submitted no later than Sunday, November 21. Paper Renewal Forms are asked to be submitted either the weekend of November 12/13 or 19/20 (Stewardship Renewal Weekends), through the Offertory, or to the Church Office.
What if I don't submit my Renewal by the date due? Please inform the Church Office of any conflicts you may have with submitting your Renewal by the date due. If you are a parent of a student who attends a Catholic school, Stewardship Renewal commitments of Time, Talent and Treasure must be submitted prior to pre-Registration for the 2012-2013 school year. Pre-registrations will be not accepted/returned, if Stewardship Renewal has not been completed and submitted.
What will happen after I submit my Renewal Form? If you submit an Online Stewardship Renewal Form, your form will be directly routed to the Church Office for processing and you will be sent a confirmation email. Paper Renewal Forms will be processed through the Church Office, as they are submitted.
