Parishioners at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church seek closeness with God through prayerful commitment to stewardship. Each fall, we recommit to follow Jesus as His disciples.
We pledge to pray, to participate in the life of the parish using our own talents, and to give the first fruits of our financial resources. These promises are carried out in such faithfulness that our parish and school thrive vibrantly.
At St. Thomas, we live Stewardship as a Way of Life.
We worship at Mass weekly and on Holy Days of Obligation, all the while spending daily time and effort on our relationship with God. We spend time in adoration, praise, thanksgiving and petition.
We prayerfully consider which personal talents and skills we possess and can gratefully share with God through serving our parish and our community.
Financial support given in gratitude of God’s shared treasure is part of stewardship. By giving the fruit fruits of our financial gifts, we make an immense positive impact on the spiritual aspect of our lives individually and as parishioners. Of course, financial support is also the means by which we maintain the Parish, School, and outreach programming.
As we embark on our annual Requesting Stewards for Vibrant Parish (RSVP) campaign, the time frame in which we will make our pledges for 2018, we will share information about stewardship and committing to live stewardship as a way of life here on our website, in our bulletins, through social media, during Masses, and with visual reminders throughout our Church. Each parishioner is asked to prayerfully consider how they will recommit to following Jesus as His disciple during this time. 2018 stewardship pledges will be requested on or by Sunday, November 19, 2018.
