PSR

The Parish School of Religion is the religious education program from Grades 1-8 which is offered to children in the parish that attend public school. The program’s purpose is to nourish young people in the knowledge of their faith, and help give them the tools to have a working knowledge of the faith and the beliefs of the Catholicism. It also serves as preparation for students that need to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist.

Notice for 2nd Grade PSR Parents:

Your son or daughter has an exciting year ahead of them!  We are currently preparing them for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. There are two mandatory meetings for parents regarding the sacraments that your child is receiving on the dates listed below. Please clear your calendars for both sets of dates to ensure that you & your child are able to be there!

First Reconciliation

Mandatory Parent Meeting

January 10th: 10:15-11:45am (Parish Hall), childcare available in Nursery

 

First Reconciliation Service

Wednesday, January 27th, 7:00pm (students and parents must be present), followed by a reception in Parish Hall for parents and students!

 

First Holy Communion

Mandatory Parent Meeting

Sunday, March 28th, 10:15-11:45am (Parish Hall)

 

First Holy Communion Mass

Sunday, April 25th, at 12:00pm Mass, followed by a reception for family and friends!
