Welcome to a brand new year! Enthusiasm is high for a year full of hope and dreams. We, in the Learning Lab, are preparing to serve students with integrity and compassion as we lead students into a successful school year! You will notice a few changes in the Learning Lab. We are now featuring the art work of students who have had Learning Lab support either now or in the past! Our students have many talents!
I am beginning my 34 year of teaching. Twenty-two of those years have been in the Catholic Diocese of Wichita. This is my 10th year at St. Thomas Aquinas. I attended Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. My degree is in Special Education/Elementary Education.
I have been married to my husband Brian for 29 years. We have two daughters. Our oldest daughter, Hollyn, teaches middle school math and religion at St. Patrick - Wichita. Our youngest daughter, Chelsea, recently moved to Frederick, Maryland to begin her career in Speech Pathology. We are members of St. Patrick parish.
I enjoy gardening, reading, cooking and being with friends and family. I have a large extended family with whom I enjoy playing games and traveling. It always renews my spirit to be with those who make me laugh!
