Miss Rinkenbaugh Biography

Welcome! I am excited to begin my first year of teaching at St. Thomas Aquinas. It is a great school and I am very grateful to be a part of it. I grew up in Wichita and attended St. Thomas and Kapaun Mt. Carmel. In May of 2016, I graduated from Emporia State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.  I am so excited to be able to teach along side some of my former teachers who have inspired me. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, crafting, and playing board games.

I am looking forward to a great school year in 2nd grade!

Week of May 1st, 2017

We will work on Chapter 14 which is a review of the Sacrament of the Eucharist. There will be a test on the Morning Offering this week as well.  Continue to review prayers learned this year.

Our story this week is Two of Everything by Lily Toy Hong. We will look at understanding characters, antonyms, possessive pronouns, long vowels with a and i. We continue to work on our Family Scrapbooks.

Our next spelling pre-test will be May 1st and if they get 100%, they will be responsible for list 2 on Thursday May 4th.

We will finish and test on data and graphs this week.
