Mrs. Roemeling - Biography

I am blessed to begin my 12th year at Saint Thomas Aquinas School in a new position as a first grade teacher. I was born, raised and educated in New York graduating with a degree in Elementary Education from S.U.N.Y. at Plattsburg.

Before moving to Wichita in 1987 I taught in Dallas for five years. Since arriving in Wichita I have taught preschool and kindergarten, substitute taught and tutored children with Dyslexia.

My  husband, David, and I enjoy  bike rides, hiking, walking and watching movies. My three daughters are gainfully employed (yeah) and all are graduates of STA, KMC, and KU! I am excited to be teaching first grade at St. Thomas Aquinas!

Mrs. Tanner-Biography

Hello, My name is Brandie Tanner. I was born and raised in Wichita, and now reside in Rose Hill. I have been married to my husband Michael for 26 years. We have 4 children; Caleb (Bubba) is 24, Garrett is 21, McKenzie is 18, and Mason is 16. I have one granddaughter, Kinsley is 2. I enjoy reading, going out to eat, hanging out with my family and friends, cooking, and cuddling Kinsley.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Newman University. I was called by God to teach 3rd grade at STA in 2003. This will be my first year in 1st grade.  I am very excited to start a new chapter in my career.  The best part of teaching is watching the students achieve success. I am fortunate enough to be able to provide them with some academic and spiritual guidance along the way. I look forward to many more happy years here at St. Thomas Aquinas
