Located in the northeast part of Wichita, near the corner of east 13th and north Woodlawn, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church was established in 1957 with 150 families. The following year, our parish school opened with over 300 students. Now, in the year 2016, the parish boasts more than 1300 families and a parish school of nearly 550.
St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church is a stewardship parish. We rely on parishioners accepting their invitation to experience, witness and live the stewardship way of life in response to their baptismal call to discipleship to operate and maintain a vibrant parish. In accordance with the Four Marks of the Church and Four Pillars of Stewardship, which are hospitality, prayer, formation and service, we provide opportunities for parishioners to participate. We are able to serve our families well thanks only to our own members pledging and fulfilling commitments to pray, participate and give, each and every year.
